Filipino women are seen as already more "empowered" compared to their neighbors in the region. Statistics from groups like the International Labor Organization show that our society has some progress in creating a better environment for women.

A woman who’s unabashed about her attractiveness (or desire to be so) is a woman wielding her power. She is controlling her body, and doing what she wants with it. All because it makes her feel good.
